My wires from harnees to alternator are NOT color coded right, I need some help hooking them up to the alternator.
The wires as follows
1. Two wires in one that have one large terminal connector. red wires with blk stripes, then a seperate small blk wire at the other end with terminal connector
2. White wire with connector
3. Black wire with connector its thicker guage than all of the other wires
4. Negative battery cable
The alternator has a red collar terminal connection, a white terminal connection. and a black collar terminal connection.
Then a smaller terminal connection above marked GND.
Any one ????
I live out in the sticks and i cant seem to understand the wiring diagrams,or get any help. Its a standard alternator for a 1967 ford mustang with v8 -289, 2 barrel carb.
Thanks Darr67
